High School vs. College
My compare/contrast essay is on the differences between high school and college.It talks about an aspect of the two like class sizes and the amount of help a student would be able to get. It also goes into detail about the difference about testing in college and high school. It has many other interesting facts on the differences between high school and college.

You should research how college consists of a lot more independent studies, and motivation. In high school you are held accountable day to day, but in college you could let an essay go untouched for eight weeks, and the professor would never know until the due date.

DeleteI think you could talk about the differences in maturity levels, and what the teachers expect out of students in high school and in college. As well you can talk about the course load, and the way that instead of going to the same class everyday you only go once or twice a week. Also you can talk about the differences in the freedom a student has like in high school they have to ask to use the bathroom, but in college you no longer need to ask you can go whenever you need to.

ReplyDeleteThis topic is easily relatable to everyone in the class. Going from high school to college there are so many differences, just be careful to stick to the main points you want to compare since it would be so easy to stray off.
